Three new laptops, sporting Onyx Blue Metallic lid, join Toshiba’s Satellite bandwagon. M200 series gets two new additions—— ST2001 and ST2002, while one new laptop joins the M205 series—— S3207. All the three notebooks sport a 14.1″ widescreen display, providing 1280-by-800 pixel resolution; also feature built-in web camera, stereo speakers, a 56k modem, a PCMCIA card slot, four USB ports, a 5-in-1 media card reader, and a FireWire port.
M205 series newbie is powered by Intel Pentium T2080 dual-core processor, running at 1.73Ghz, 1GB of RAM, and features a 160GB SATA hard-drive at 5,400rpm, and an integrated, 943GML chipset, Graphics Media Accelerator 950.
ST2001 features an Intel Core 2 Duo T5300 processor at 1.73GHz, while the higher end notebook, ST2002 is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 processor running at 1.8 GHz. ST2002 has 200GB SATA hard drive at 4,200rpm, the economical among the two features the 160GB 5,400rpm SATA HDD.
The common features between M200 models are fingerprint reader, Labelflash DVD burner, a Gigabit Ethernet. ST2002 comes with Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG (802.11a/b/g) wireless. You get Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN (802.11a/g/draft n) in ST2001.
