The smart asses amongst us waited for the iPhone rather than splurge on the iPod touch. Which was a fabulous thing to do until I realised that I would have to depend on the built-in speakers of the iPhone to listen to my music collection. Not a very good thing to do when you wish to experience the lovely voice of Sarina Paris.
And besides even if the speakers did work, there was the RF problem which would amplify the buzzing noise anytime you recieved an SMS or call - and sometimes it seems just out of spite. The LiveSpeakRs that I came across are tastefully designed and are shielded from RF noise.
The main features are: being portable, and having a clip to attach the speakers to the iPhone, which means that they will work perfectly in landscape and portrait modes.
There is no information about the LiveSpeakR price, and the release date is set to the summer of 2008.
