Finally! and if you already read about this at other blogs but have no clue as to why is everybody so excited about it then read on. But what you need to know is that this keyboard is finally shipping. Created by art cum technology guru Lebedev - each key on this keyboard is a stand-alone display that shows the function currently assigned to it. Thus in effect each key has its own display.
The technology took a long time to get from concept to production despite taking orders some time back. Hence the excitement over shipping. If this works then you know now how keyboards in the future would look like. The program would also be able to dictate the keys. Of course that makes my see-how-fast-i-can-type-on-the-qwerty completely obsolete.
