Wonder why Windows made it big? Thats cuz they always took the best features of the competitors and added some of their own. Especially from Apple. Users of the iPhone and even otherwise must have noticed the threaded SMS feature of the iPhone. While its a drag sometimes , I must admit that it makes things extremely easy , kind of like a real time conversation - just like at GMail.

Though since this is a third party application , I cant just blame MS much as I would love to.

SMS-Chat presents a number of useful features like multiple SMS messaging, resending, forwarding and deleting messages (you can also delete the whole chat).

- Full screen notification for new messages.
- Chats with most recent messages appear at the top.
- Indication of the number of typed characters
- Contacts filtering by phone number and name.
- Multi-lingual support.

The contact search is simplified with a filter that helps users find a contact by typing its name or number. You can also enjoy scrolling contact list with a finger.

SMS-Chat supports English, German, French, Japanese, Spanish, Italian, and Hebrew.
