I call it smart because it saves me from freezing my ass each time I jump into the shower. Depending on the weather, or rather I should say on the day in Melbourne - the weather wavers from finger numbing cold to go nude in tram hot. Since I prefer a warm shower in all weathers, I hate jumping into the shower with the showerhead pouring cold water on my butt.

And no, I cant wait and use my hands to get a feel of the temperature before I enter the cubicle, thats just me. At least one other person on this planet shares my habit otherwise the intelligent showerhead would not have come to be. This one changes colors from blue to red depending on the temperature of the water.

If its the thought of electrocution thats stopping you from buying it then dont worry. It operates on turbines powered by the water coming out of the shower head. No batteries or wires. The precise temperature of 32 degrees celcius ( 89 degrees fahrenheight) is what triggers the temperature change.

Sounds just about right to me.
