No its not Dubai for once, they prefer their cars. Its China and the Chinese promise to have a five star hotel style ambience inside the train. The train shall travel from Beijing to Lhasa and there will be three such trains. The fare will be about 20 times more expensive than the ordinary fare of about 2000 yuan or $US280 ($300), Xinhua news agency said.

Each train will have 12 passenger cars, two dining cars and a sightseeing car. Each passenger car will have four 10-square-metre suites featuring a double bed, a living room and bathing facilities.

The Chinese promise that this shall be the worlds most luxurious train till date. This train continues the process of integrating Tibet into the mainland despite Tibetans seeking independence. Critics argue that this will lead to the environmental degradation of Tibet.
