This is sheer genius. Who hasnt heard of Dolby and their expertise with surround sound. Avid movie goers will immediately recall the chopper type video and sound effects that Dolby shows before movies which have Dolby surround. I have thrown in the video to refresh your memory.

Anyway the object of the whole exercise is to tell you that Nokia has tied up with Dolby to offer surround system sound on their handsets. The application installs and runs in the background when viewing movies or listening to music. When paired with a decent set of headphones, the Dolby signal processing is really amazing. Look for new Nokia N-series handsets to start offering Dolby enhancements in the near-term.
