While selling out of a device is not anything new, it happens a lot of times when there is too much demand; not getting any more stock of a hot product certainly is. Or thats what O2 expects us to believe. After the recent price slashing of the 8 GB iPhone in the UK , the handset went flying out of stores. O2 informs us that no more stock of the 8 GB iphone is expected.
So consumers are now supposed to go in for the pricier 16 GB version or wait for the 3G iPhone which has been denied a few times and never really admitted to. However considering that no new stocks are coming and a lot more rumors are popping up all around of the unlocked 3G iPhone to debut soon in countries like Italy and Australia, it can only mean that the rumors are true.
