With more and more cards going RFID compliant, its becoming a matter of concern that hackers are learning to wirelessly steal our identities, bank accounts and much more. In fact most security experts even recommend that we wrap in tin-foil , the credit cards that are RFID compliant. You could of course disperse with the wrap in tin foil each card thingy and just buy this special wallet.
Available from lifestyle design company Kena Kai, DateSafe wallets are designed with a metalized nylon that disrupts the transmission of radio frequency identification. They're made of leather, weigh the same as a normal wallet, and come in a variety of functional and stylish designs, so you'll look good while protecting yourself.
What bothers me more than the 80-220$ price range of the wallets is that it would also stop the key cards used by systems such as MTR in hong Kong or the soon to beintroduced Myki in Melbourne from working. This means that while the rest of the gang flashes their wallet to the machine, I drag out my card each time to get it read.
Oh well I cant have it all I reckon.
