Now given that us bloggers dont have to move much from our ass weary seats, we usually dont need to dress up. Especially not in formal suits. But I do understand that the rest of you have a real job as my friends never tire of pointing out and they do need things like this. I present to you, Australian innovation at its best- The washable suit. Its bound to save you more than just pocket change at the dry cleaners and besides, its Bondishly cool.
Made mainly from fast-drying Australian merino wool by the Japanese firm Konaka, it is aimed at the businessman who is required to remain fully suited in the sweltering heat and humidity of an Asian summer.
The idea is that at the end of a gruelling day, the suit can be hosed down in the shower then hung to dry, regaining its shape, creases and freshness overnight and saving on costly dry cleaning.
As always, its only available in Japan but at 250 pounds thats a steal. An amino acid that makes our hair and nails water repellant has been used to make this suit water repellant.
Have a look at the video where the guy takes the suit in his shower and still manages to get to office in perfect condition the next day. Its ideal for me, I hate all the work that goes into steam pressing and I always forget to either drop off or pick up my laundry from the dry cleaners before important events.
