I like gaming. I like laptops. Actually I prefer tablets. But the Asus G70 is good enough for me to overlook that slight difference. Laptops made especially for gaming have it going tough. Its always a matter of time before a computer gets out of date but gaming laptops have it even harder since games keep demanding more and more resources.
Lets see how Asus thinks the G70 shall be able to withstand the assault.
The new Asus G70 features the NVIDIA SLI Technology. G70 is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Extreme processor, up to 4GB of DDR2 Memory, dual hard disk drive and dual 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8700M GT graphic cards. As you can see, it should last you well uptil 2010 at the very least.
They dont mentioned which OS but I do hope its XP since Microsoft has already decided to extend support for it. The laptop shall also have a 17 inch display , bluetooth , 2 megapixel camera (built-in) , integrated TV tuner and a Blu-Ray burner.
