Nintendo better watch out, the previous king of video games Atari has just been given a new lease of life. Infogrames, owner of the Unreal series has bought Atari for 11 Million Dollars. Theyve also agreed to float Atari a $20 million loan to cover day-to-day operations until the deal is finalized.

Atari were pioneers of video game console machines so they should theoretically know this market more than anyone else. For old times sakes, lets just hope they pull through and give us something to take on Nintendo.
