We told you about the upcoming browser war just yesterday and already the first artillery firing can be heard from across the borders. Mozilla has taken the initiative by claiming that it wishes to break a world record of downloads with the Firefox 3. Mozilla is encouraging people to pledge that they download Firefox 3 within 24 hours of its debut. They have even set up a website asking you to pledge your support. The site asks for your e-mail and shall remind you before the release.

They are even asking blogs and sites for help and support by including Download Day buttons on them. As long term supporters of Mozilla and Firefox in particular, The Earth Times shall proudly be caring one of these buttons. So if you are a regular visitor, you need not sign up - just keep coming back daily and we promise to remind you and help play your part in creating this new world record.
