Mozilla has taken the initiative by claiming that it wishes to break a world record of downloads with the Firefox 3. Mozilla is encouraging people to pledge that they download Firefox 3 within 24 hours of its debut. They have even set up a website asking you to pledge your support. The site asks for your e-mail and shall remind you before the release.

They are even asking blogs and sites for help and support by including Download Day buttons on them. As long term supporters of Mozilla and Firefox in particular, The Earth Times shall proudly be caring one of these buttons.
