Oral-B has come up with a toothbrush thats basically going to nag you just as the dentist does on those quarterly appointments. The wireless display actually makes good sense. Its right on the lines of the toothbrush timer that we feature sometime back.
This one shows you how long you brushed your teeth and how short it was of the recommended two minutes time by the dentists. The new Oral-B features Smart Technology which enables the brushhead, handle and visual display to work together to give you visual cues that help you brush better. The brushhead and handle, which are embedded with microchips, communicate with the wireless display to signal when you are brushing too hard, when to move to the next quadrant of the mouth, when you have brushed for two minutes, and when it is time to replace the brushhead.
Its available now and costs a bundle - 150$ USD at Amazon. If I do buy it, its probably going to be my most expensive toothbrush till date. Somehow I think I will prefer my bathroom clock to do the job just fine.
