In the recent proliferation of waterproof cameras, we add another one to the list. This time its the Sealife DC800 which true to its name will let you capture sea life while scuba diving or snorkelling. Honestly though I didnt think there was such a huge demand for cameras that work under water.
The 8-megapixel camera includes a wide-angle optical lens with 4x optical zoom, auto focus up to 2 inches (5 cm), and features a video mode, allowing users to capture digital video with sound. The SeaLife DC800 features five underwater modes. The Sea mode exposure program has three UW color correction settings (Oceans Blue, Oceans Green, Rivers/Lakes) to adjust colors depending on the color of the water you're diving in.
Sealife guarantees that their DC800 shall operate waterproof to a depth of 200 feet (60 meters). The SeaLife DC800 includes 32MB of built-in memory, and an SD/SDHC memory slot supports cards up to 4GB. The DC800 is already available in shops starting from USD $550 onwards.
