Its not like Sony to break their word to consumers, but thats exactly what has happened down under in Australia. Sony promised Bravia buyers that they would get a free Playstation 3 console along with their purchase. The offer was valid from December 21 to January 28 - nearly five months ago.

Sony has yet to make good on its promise. Sony claims that they do not have enough stock, however a casual glance at any major store is enough to see there are plenty of Playstation 3s stacked up.

Samsung which has had simialr troubles recently already has consumers signing on for a class action lawsuit against the company. Sony has promised to deliver the consoles in this month, but angry consumers are not ready to believe any more stories.
