While the Xperia X1 is getting a lot of press, its still nothing as compared to Apples magic touch. This is saying something since the Xperia promises to be as revolutionary as the iPhone was. Windows Mobile also has a lot riding on the Xperia as the success of this phone would mean that the masses have finally accepted Windows Mobile as a Mobile OS that deserves respect.

The new details that have just cropped up (and these are no rumor but from the horses mouth itself) are that the phone shall have 256MB of SDRAM and a 1500mAh lithium polymer battery which can give out a good 10 hours of talk time via GSM or 6.5 hours via UMTS. SonyEricsson has released the white-paper for the Xperia which you would do well to download and read up on in case you are very interested in getting this handset. But really, its just for developers looking to make third party apps for the Xperia. I just went through it myself, and I think its nice for someone who wants the detailed specifications to read it too.
