If it were any other company but Sony, I would have made a mockery of the whole thing. After all they just announced some golf ball sized speakers which they promised would be good enough for a home entertainment system. As if that was not a mean feat , Sony has now claimed the clear tube shaped speakers which shall deliver natural sound - whatever that might be. The speakers have been named as Sauntina and shall be available only in the Japanese markets.

One of the most important features of this speaker shall be that since it produces sound with a three dimensional depth, the sound will be clear and of same quality / volume in all 360 degrees. The glass tube can also be illuminated with the choice of three colors including blue, amber and purple.

It will go on sale in Japan on June 20th for 1,050,000(JPY).
