What happens when a really horny train makes out with a bus. I dont know what you would call the results, but I could show you a picture. The resulting trus (for lack of a better word) can run along on tracks as well as roads. Its already been put to work in rural Japan where it helps in saving time and fuel by being able to use tracks wherever possible. They call it the DMV - Dual Mode Vehicle.

Created by Toyota, I find it hard to believe that it actually saves fuel considering those heavy wheels it needs to lug around for travelling on rails. The change from wheels to train wheels takes place with the flick of a button and takes no more then 15 seconds.
