Recently we were asked to deliver an impromptu presentation on a particular topic in B-school. Its then that I realised that with even a couple of hours to get a few pictures and some slides in order would be enough, its getting the projector for a small room which is the difficult part. Getting the IT department to lend you one for a couple of hours without informing them in advance is akin to a succesful live-in relationship in Saudi Arabia.

Its then that it dawned on me how important or useful projectors in cell phones could be. But till we get there, or I get a phone from the far east, its Earth Trek to the rescue. Earth-Trek has just come up with this smallest ever projector to date. Measuring about 4 by 2 inches, the projector can apparently pump out a 22-inch diagonal image (no word from what distance), with an SD card slot and an A/V input provided via a 3.5 mm jack, not to mention a built-in speaker.
Sounds just what the doctor ordered for the marketing guy who is always on the road. It would be significantly easier to go into any room and project your ideas on a wall while making the pitch.
