After Steve Jobs, Who?

Posted by Funkyguy on June 30, 2008 2:16 PM

Given that the news of Bill Gates retiring made waves everywhere (we must admit his significant contribution to the world of computing); it made us wonder, what after the Steve?

Of the several candidates that come to mind, two in particular stand out.

1) Timothy Cook: Easily the best choice since the Steve approves of him too. We know since this is the person who was left in charge when Mr. Jobs was out of action following his cancer. The board of directors also respects this individual as do the investors. Currently he is responsible for all of the companys worldwide sales and operations, including end-to-end management of Apples supply chain, sales activities, and service and support in all markets and countries.

2) Tony Fadell: The man responsible for the ipod and the iPhone. The guy who first came up with the idea of iTunes and the iPod. Currently a senior vice-president clearly he has the intuition and ability for what it takes to be the next CEO.

For a list of more (we already told you what our bets are on) go on to CNN.
