Thats right, the super hybrid laptops are soon to be here. Equipped with some sensational under- clocking technology, the Eee PC 901 and 1000 allow you to drag out your laptops battery by upto 15%. This is achieved by allowing users to adjust CPU frequency, voltage and LCD brightness to get the maximum efficiency. Its also going to be amongst the first few laptops (of the cheaper variety such as the MSI wind - which btw is also launching around the same time) to have a 10-inch screen with a 1024 x 600 resolution.

However MSI is the one with the cheaper price tags since the Wind is to cost $479 whereas its been speculated that the Eee PC 901 (8.9 inches and loaded with Linux) , 1000 (10 inches and loaded with Windows XP) would be costing more than 599$ each.
