As oil becomes scarce (or at least speculators would have us think so), natural gas is looking more and more attractive as a fuel source for generating power and even running your car. Thats because the cars of the future are likely to run on hydrogen,

and the most effective way to generate this hydrogen is by use of natural gas.
Natural gas emits 29% less carbon dioxide than oil and 45% less than coal, and it can be used in high-efficiency combined cycle power stations. In the past few years, the U.S. power industry has increasingly replaced coal with natural gas as the fuel of choice.
While nothings wrong with that, the irony is that the majority of the earths natural gas deposits have been distributed unfairly to a small number of nations. Nations such as Russia, Iran, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. These suppliers then plan to come under what shall be called as the OGEC, in order to safeguard their interests.
In other words, here we go again.
