Dell-E

Posted by Funkyguy on July 21, 2008 11:56 AM

Obviously named so as to get a bit of free publicity from Wall-E, the robot that everyone seems to have fallen in love with, Dell is planning to make sure that the low cost Dell-E doesnt ruin the feeling that is bound to come up with the common last name. In fact, at $299 even the most hardened of consumers may find themselves wondering if they need another laptop.

Obviously the Dell-E isnt going to be competition for any high end computer but it should be great for kids especially since dell plans to bring it out in different colors.

Detailed specifications havent been released yet but we know what to expect since the Eee PCs arrival. Personally Dell has always meant a lot more to me than any others such as Acer, though I havent had any complaints with either of them. Somehow, Dell has managed to make extremely good workhorse computers at fair prices and quality services (thats after you manage to break the secret of actually communicating with their offshore backoffices. Other then that, keep em comin Dell!
