Here is one Hollywood celeb who doesnt mind spending big bucks when it comes to protecting the environment. Johnny Depp had purchased an island all for himself to pirate on for about $3,000,000 some time back. Being an island as you may imagine, there was no power source on it. Traditionally, houses on such remote locations are powered by diesel generators. But the ecology loving Depp was having none of those polluting fumes on his island.

Mike Strizki was approached for a solution who designed a system that powered itself from the sun (solar power) and stored excess power in the form of hydrogen for use at night or when its extremely cloudy.
