The iPhone 3G has reached the magic number in just a few weeks from launch. Obviously the iPhone had help - like being on sale in 21 countries at the same time.

But at the same time , 1 million phones in just 3 days is a tribute to Apples hype management and PR department which has played the game just as it should be.

Considering that the original iPhone took 74 days to reach the magic figure ; its hats off to Apple. One can only understand what the iPhones impact will be on the future in terms of design , browsing etc now because once these changes are ingrained, we will be untolerant of devices with smaller displays or any leack of intuition.
