The famous Indian car maker, Tata Motors have just revealed their intention to make electric cars. Its not Tatas first brush with alternate fuel cars. Readers will recall the stir caused by Tata with their annoucement to develop the Tata Air car - the one which uses compressed air for running.

The electric car shall be developed in conjunction with a Norway based company. Further details such as pricing were not announced at the moment.
