Two best buys for the Apple iPhone 3G

OK, so you woke up at 5 a.m. , stood in the line for a few hours and managed to get your hands on the already disappearing iPhone 3G before others even woke up. You may have realised that despite the plastic back being much more abuse resistant , you really dont want to reach the point where you can say, Ah - so that did leave a mark . Since Mr. Jobs set the theme of the iPhone 3G on affordability, I am going to continue from where he left off.

Here are a couple of must buys for the iPhone which probably should have been included in the box by Apple as a goodwill gesture. But with the low cost of the phone , I wont complain.

1) The Screen Guard. Something that most users of the first iPhone would swear by. It would definitely help in protecting the iPhone from dirt, fingerprints and assorted damage that you are capable of imparting to your baby. It sets you back by $1.70 USD and qualifies for free shipping world wide. If you travel on trains / buses regularly and need something to protect your data from peeking toms, you could go in for the privacy screen protector (just search around) which costs 4$ a pop.

2) The Silicone Protective case (black). This one is for $2.18 - free shipping around the world. Its also another thing that original iPhone users swear by. It protects your iPhone without restricting the display or sensors in any manner. Anyway its your preference, but the leather cases had one annoying point - the flaps would hang around while you talked on the phone. With this case, that does not happen.
