Ever so often comes along a car, that for some reason becomes so embedded in the memory of humans that generations to come think about it not as a car but the car. Why that happens no one knows, there is perhaps one single reason or a dozen reasons that have all come together. But what we do know, is that the Ford Mustang is undoubtably one of these cars.

Unveiled a few days back is the badge that shall be worn by the Ford Mustang when it comes out in 2010. We are glad that while Ford has made the logo more realistic (they say it took them hours of research to come up with the perfect blend) ; they havent tinkered with it much.

If the logo is any indication of things to come, the Mustang shall perhaps reinvent the American muscle cars that have become part of folk lore and maybe even be succesful enough to turn around Detroits fortunes. Heaven knows they badly need that to happen.
