Internet Sharing on iPhone with PC

Posted by Funkyguy on August 1, 2008 9:01 AM

This software finally allows you to do what we have been praying for a long time. Its also one of the chief reasons that service providers are scared of providing uncapped data access to the iPhone. Yes, I am talking about being able to hook up your iPhone to a computer and use the internet connection (tethering as geeks call it).

Its called as Netshare and is available on the iPhone App store. Nothing illegal about it , and installs pretty straightforward too. You could use it with EDGE as well as 3G. Though EDGE sucks absolutely big time. It costs 10$ USD and is basically a SOCKS proxy if you know what I mean.
