If you thought your laser mouse was state of the art in terms of response and accuracy think again. Microsoft is using its considerable clout to make sure that the laser mice become a thing of the past. The Blue track mice are all set to replace them sooner or later.

Unlike laser mice which do not work well on certain surfaces, the blue tracks have a blue LED with a wide-angle lens that can work on more surfaces than laser or even optical.
Expect more details on the 9th of September when Microsoft makes the big announcement.
