Remember those Televisions of yester years? When everything had a wood grain finish and it supposedly made things look more sophisticated then they actually were? Well either its a case of retro looking cool or a designer who just woke up from hibernation. Personally these wood grain finish Wiimotes dont much appeal to me, but its you, the consumer who will make the final call.

The designer did give white backlights to the Wiimote in case that helps. But the wood is just a major turn off ; not that the vanilla white plastic controls of the original are any better ; but hey all you need is some of those condom covers in different colors to brighten up things.
