Boom boxes were all the rage at one time. While I always preferred my sony alkman with headphones, some people loved to make sure that the world listened along with them to their choice of music. Personally I thought that it would be a pain in the neck to carry the boombox along everywhere I go just to show I was cool.

Luckily somone over at gadgetshop must have been listening. They have created this cardboard boom box in a DIY sort of project which you can assemble for yourself when you feel the urge to really let your music rip. Of course being of cardboard and all, its got its limits otherwise it would end up destroying its own self.

Me? I am going to go in for the motion powered rollable boom box that I came across while researching for this cardboard one. Now that looks damn cool and is even eco-friendly.
