The iPod touch hasnt changed much, especially if you compare the changes that the Nano got to make. However its now been pushed into a thinner stainless steel case (chrome lovers will rejoice while those that hate fingerprints will sigh) - but the main thing, the display, remains the same. The user interface experience has been improved and they have given it hardware controls for the volume.

The new iPod Touch also gets a built-in speaker and surprisingly a Nike+ receiver embedded into it. All you need is a shoe transmitter to get going. Battery life is decent at 36 hours of music and 6 hours of video. Prices havent dropped as much as one hoped - 8GB for $229, 16GB for $299, and 32GB for $399.
