Knight Rider is so 80s : Here is what the 21st century gives us

And you thought that you were the geekiest driver on the planet. Found on a forum for a used Toyota MR2 - requirement for the next owner to be really good in programming languages such as Visual Basic, general knowledge about electronics and PC technology also a must. If you were wondering what these have to do with owning a car, then this MR2 was certainly not what you had in mind.

The car has been extremely modded by a very dedicated programmer / electronics engineer so that the entire instrument cluster and center console have been replaced with three screens displaying every conceivable function and parameter of the MR2s systems.

The trio of displays are controlled by either a touch screen interface or a center console-mounted knob (ala iDrive), and allows the drive to manipulate everything from fuel consumption to engine temp; climate control to GPS functions; mirrors, radar/laser, the wireless transfer of music from a home computer, lights, fog lights, etc.

Of course, driving this baby will only be possible on the autobahn considering that the car is for sale in Germany, but I think most of my readers were already lost once I rattled off the must haves needed to own this car. Seriously though, she looks like more of Kirks Enterprise then Kitts Knight Rider.
