Motorola unveils an entire platoon onto the Android

Enough said. The generals in Motorolas camps have read The Art of War and have decided to take the campaign right into their enemies homes. Fed up of the constant comparisons with competitors handsets and their apparent failure to give the market what it demands (the last cell phone that they did get perfect was the RAZR , which is a long time back) ; Motorola has allocated a stupendous 350 person team for working on the Android.

They are putting on their bets on Google, and we have to say that it is one smart move. If anyone has it in them to take on the others, its gotto be Google (despite the cold reception that they got).

Nokia which has purchased Symbian and opened it up is also keeping a team to work on the Android. Just in case the OS picks up, they wouldnt want to be caught on the wrong foot. As for Motorola, this is probably their last chance at making sure that their cell phone department retains some respect.
