While Sony was busy bringing out their dimunitive OLED TV whose only saving grace or USP if you would call it that is that its wireless, Panasonic was working on an entirely different front. Their 150 inched Life wall TV is a smart ass. It uses face recognition technology to recognise the user and adjusts the display or program to that persons preferences automatically.

So does it switch on porn the moment you enter a room filled with guests? Lets just say we hope Sony made it smarter than that.
The TV can also resize the picture making it bigger or smaller depending on the distance between you and it. This allows you to see the program without straining your eyes at all. The TV can also show a screensaver instead of a black screen when in standby mode.
Panasonic expects the Life Wall Telly to go in production in 2009.
