If its not like you to indulge in random gossip while enjoying a cup of latte , then how about heating things up with a competitve game of ping pong? You wont even have to move away from your coffee table to do so - the table takes care of that. SparkFun LED coffee table also serves as a set for four-way ping-pong. This table, which took two years to complete, has 64 RGB serial matrices, 4 Atari controllers and one LPC2106 dev board.

Now I know that the video is difficult to see, but thats the best I could get. Obviously the person who shot it thought that it would be easier to see the table in action with the lights off. Hope thats not the case in reality since I wouldnt care much about dropping my coffee over myself or my partner just cuz there wasnt enough light in the first place.

Only one prototype has yet been created and they are working on removing the kinks before it goes for sale.
