This is one thing that I have already added to my list of playthings which are to be installed in my dream house. If you havent been a regular reader to this blog, you may not know what thats all about. Nothing would make me happier than a chance to go into details.

Well you see, its this huge house by the sea with a basement that has been enlarged so as to hold 2 bowling lanes, a pool table, pinball machines, a huge plasma for video gaming (thats different from the special setup for watching movies which in fact gets its own sound proofed room). Anyhow , you get the drift. So if I am adding something there then it obviously needs to be special.
Unlike the other toys that I mentioned, this one is definitely kiddish. But at the same time it brings back joyful memories of those wonderful yester-years without a care in the world. I never even knew that those store rides were available for sale.
The Rocket ride is brand new, an authentic unit refurbished to its original state, including the details of its tapered nose cone, bulbous body, and symbols suggestive of space travel. Made of sturdy fiberglass, the rocket ride uses an electric motor to provide the same one-minute traveling motion that it provided nearly half a century ago, including gentle rising, diving, and banking left and right; the speed of motion is controlled by turning the handle bars.
A built-in sound system produces rocket sound effects, including take-off procedures, countdown, lift-off, and flight. The coin bo x takes dimes; coins are easily retrieved.
It costs USD 10,000 - so if you were planning on recouping those dimes - its going to take an awfully long time.
