Samsung must have broken all records with this super slim LCD. Measuring an extremely respectable 52 inch diagonally, the Samsung LCD TV is just 1 inch in thickness.
Now mind you, that 1 inch thickness takes in the tuner, power supply as well as the main board in it. The LCD has a 50,000:1 contrast ratio and 550 nit brightness, it is scheduled to go into production by 2009.
