While the rest of the world still waits and wishes that the Xperia X1 would pull up its act and arrive sooner rather than later, its only the Brits and the Germans who have got any real ideas of when and who. Vodafone will launch the Windows Mobile based handset (which happens to be one of the few smart phones to offer real competition to the iPhone) in the UK, and both Voda and O2 will have it in Germany.

O2 UK has not so far officially commented on it , but Engadget seem pretty sure of their sources and we have found that in such cases their word is as good as gospel.
