The iPod Gramaphone : Phonofone II

Posted by Funkyguy on September 2, 2008 3:42 PM

It was only a matter of time before they came up with this one. I wont even try telling you that I actually had this design in my mind since I absolutely cant prove it, but I d feel much obliged if you believe me all the same.

However in this dimension, the iPod gramaphone is designed by Tristan Zimmerman with only 200 pieces available for sale. It absolutely uses no power except the power of your iPod Classic or iPod Touch to amplify music. The Nano or shuffle unfortunately dont have enough power to amplify the Phonofone II as its being called.

Its got a maximum output of just 55 decibels, something that you may have figured out when we mentioned that it has no external source of power. The Phonofone II Limited Edition Black sells for $600
