The remote controlled Blimp Messenger

Posted by Funkyguy on September 9, 2008 3:47 PM

The Blimp messenger is one way of making your thoughts clear to your loved ones if you are too shy to verbally express them. Its a perfectly geeky way of doing what you should have done long before like propose to your girl friend or just say I love you to your mom.

This remote controlled blimps inflatable mylar balloon can be inscribed with personal messages using seven included colored markers and 12 stencils, making it ideal for celebrations. It plays eight different songs from its built-in speaker in its gondola, accompanied by eight strobing light patterns that flash from 14 LEDs on the gondolas undercarriage.

The blimps balloon fills with helium (available at party stores or florists) and its gondola attaches to the bottom of the crafts hull using double-sided tape (minimizing weight). The gondola is equipped with three propellers that allow it to move in three dimensions. A four channel controller can operate the blimp.

Costs 100$ a blimp.
