After the recent horrifying train crash which was found to have been caused by the engineer on duty texting while working - which led to him having missed a red light ; the United States has now temporarily banned train operators from using cell phones while on duty.

While the cause of the crash has not yet been confirmed, the two teenagers who said that they did recieve a SMS from the train engineer a short while ago prior to the crash is being accepted as the reason for the crash. Train , track failures as well as other mechanical errors have already been ruled out.
The accident is the worst U.S. train collision in 15 years caused 25 deaths.
Our only question is why the ban is temporary. It should be made permanent even if this crash has not been caused by a cell phone. Should we really wait for such an incident before banning the bloody things?
