If you have had enough of those obtrusive banners which keep shreaking that you have an error on your computer , and if you dont download their software to fix it ; it would incur the wrath of god or something equally bad , then you need to read this one.

Washington State is suing a software company that was working on just such a scam. Their software of course fixed nothing , but cost the user 40$ USD to download. Not that there were any errors in the first place.
