While I expected dual LCD screen laptops to make an appearance in late 2008, they didnt make it - but Lenova is planning to make the news announcement of the worlds first dual LCD screen lappy at CES 2009. I also didnt expect the form factor to be as these pictures suggest. I thought that the laptop would make do without a keyboard whose place would be taken by the second touch sensitive LCD screen which would allow input as and when needed.

However the Thinkpad W700ds is a lot more conventional and has a 17-inch primary and a 10.2-inch secondary LED screen. Consumers will have the option of choosing from either the Intel Core 2 Extreme or Core 2 Quad processor, with 8GB of RAM, 980GB HDD and Nvidia Quadro FX 3700M.
