The Bold was loved and reviled in the same breath by RIM fans. Old timers found that the Blackberry Bold was nothing like what they expected a Blackberry to be ; and that was also the reason why a lot of new users were attracted to Blackberry. Well, for better or worse RIM has decided to go down this path and the next in line after the Bold is the Blackberry Kickstart - due sometime later this year. BGR has managed to get a spyshot which tells us that the design is a flip / clamshell.

Specifications include 320 x 240 display, 2.0-megapixel camera, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, a "Next Gen" SureType keypad, and 3.5mm headphone jack. Its going to be available on T-Mobile. Apparently its going to be available in several colors too. More details as release date gets closer. Stay tuned.
