Given that most cell phones have teeny weeny screens, it doesnt take Einstein to figure out why people arent enthused with the idea of watching movies on those small screens. For the Japanese who lead the technology world in solving such problems (or maybe they just love their cell phones) ; they have come up with a unique solution. Simply hold any two handsets next to each other and watch the movie on the (added) larger screen.

The technology is called as Pair Movie with the handsets using wireless technology to sync with one another. The project is the handiwork of Sony Music, advertizer Dentsu and a promotional company called Mobile Art. Available only for Japanese users, all users need to do is access the service with a barcode. Its extremely interesting to see two characters on the screen interacting with one another when they are on two seperate cell phones.
