The Wii took us some ways to playing with motions rather than pushing buttons, but the jOG promises to take us even further. If this picks up, it could easily be called as whats missing in the Wii Fit.
With jOG your character only moves when you do. jOG measures the steps you take and translates them to movement on screenjOG measures the steps you take and translates them to movement on screen. the jOG is compatible with the Playstation 2. Given that its still the most widely used console in the US of A , that sounds like a good console to hitch on to.
Just make sure you just make the motion of jogging, that means jogging on the spot and not going anywhere. What I dont like about the jOG is that it wont let you change directions - only the movement is controlled. Once immersed into the game , its very easy to try to turn in the real world and expect the character to respond.
