Lenovo A600 : The Wii-puter
January 7, 2009

While writing about the Lenovo all-in-one A600 yesterday, I didnt come across this nugget of information. In addition to the uber-sexy design that the Ideacentre A600 comes with, it also has a remote with Wii like functionality. The remote control allows users to control some features of the computer (such as multimedia while you watch a movie) and also plays a major role during gaming by being a motion-based gaming controller.

Just like the Wii-mote, players shall be able to interact with the video games by waving and pointing the remote control. The control can be used as an air mouse - simply wave the remote to have the pointer move on the screen. PLUS it triples as a VoIP controller by allowing you to make phone calls through the computer , and by being wireless its the same as buying a VoIP phone and plugging it in.

The more I read about this, the more I love it. Its not just the design but the functionality too. Lenovo just found themselves with a brand new fanboy.
